Since opening in 2010, L’Abattoir has become one of Vancouver’s legacy restaurants — a Michelin-recommended dining destination in historic Gastown known for French-influenced West Coast cuisine, seasonal tasting menus, premium steaks and seafood, cocktails, wine, private dining, and one of the city’s most celebrated bars.

Located in a restored heritage space on the site of Vancouver’s first jail, led by Executive Chef Jasper Cruickshank, L’Abattoir offers a refined but welcoming dining experience built around French technique, West Coast ingredients, polished hospitality, and a room that has remained one of Vancouver’s most memorable restaurant settings for more than a decade.
