In celebration of Dine Out Vancouver, and presented by S.Pellegrino, we’re thrilled to host a special collaboration between Executive Chef, Jasper Cruickshank and guest Chef Corbin Mathany of Ugly Duckling for the finale of their two-part dinner series. Hosted in L’Abattoir’s Private Dining Room on Tuesday, January 27th, this one-night-only event brings together two thoughtful West Coast chefs who share a deep respect for seasonal ingredients, refined technique, and creative expression.
Following their sold-out November collaboration in Victoria, the chefs reunite in Gastown to create a menu that highlights each kitchen’s approach to storytelling through food.
Since opening in 2023, Ugly Duckling has earned acclaim for its inventive nose-to-tail cooking and close relationships with Vancouver Island producers. Paired with L’Abattoir, a longtime Vancouver landmark known for its refined French-inspired West Coast cuisine, the evening promises an inspired exchange of ideas and flavours.
Included in the ticket price is a creative, multi-course tasting menu complemented by wine pairings selected and presented by L’Abattoir’s Head Sommelier, Peter Van de Reep (non-alcoholic pairings available with advance notice).
$195 per guest, exclusive of taxes and gratuity
*Guests will be seated at communal tables and will enjoy a beverage paired menu (non-alcoholic options are available if requested in advance) .
